Online bill payment provider Allied Payment Network has hired Gary Daniel as an executive vice president and board member.
Daniel has more than 45 years of experience, including positions at several companies providing data and processing systems to financial institutions.
He previously was a senior vice president at both Fidelity National Information Systems and Open Solutions. He has also been an executive at IT executive search firm Norrell and at M&T Bank. Daniel also operates his own independent consulting company and is a member of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association, Financial Managers Society and the Association for Financial Technology.
Allied sells bill payment technology to financial services institutions and other companies. Its products include PicturePay, a "point, shoot and pay" image capture product for smartphones. Daniel will work on new bill pay technology development for Allied, said Ralph Marcuccilli, president of Allied Payment Network, in a release.
