Another New Orleans CU Member Guilty Of Post-Katrina ATM Theft

Another member of New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union pleaded guilty this week to stealing cash from the credit union’s ATM after electric outages caused by the August 2005 Hurricane Katrina forced the credit union to go offline with its cash machines.

Edmonia Haley, 44, pleaded guilty to stealing $3,125 after she withdrew cash from the ATM she did not have in her account.

Earlier this month another member of New Orleans Firemen’s also pleaded guilty to similar charges (see story).
