APEXX Global adds Venmo through PayPal collaboration

Payments platform APEXX Global is working with PayPal to expand payment methods to e-commerce merchants using APEXX, including the addition of the Venmo P2P digital wallet.

London-based APEXX Global combines acquirers, gateways, shopping carts and alternative payment methods through a single API connection, while PayPal Commerce operates as a marketplace in connecting merchants, buyers, and partners with integrations with Facebook, Instagram and other social media.

APEXX views the collaboration as a way to boost consumer reach for merchants to boost sales growth and increase checkout conversion rates. The API integration will provide merchants with more payment options, and increase currency and country coverage to ease the onboarding process.

"I'm delighted that we are working with PayPal's Commerce platform," Rodney Bain, co-founder and managing director of APEXX Global, said in a Thursday press release. "At APEXX, we are always looking for new ways to provide a more efficient and customer-centric solution for merchants and PayPal Commerce does that."

PayPal launched PayPal Commerce last year to better connect e-commerce merchants with buyers and global partners.
