Fraudsters in Australia potentially traffic in stolen credit cards that have a combined credit limit of US$5.3 billion (4.1 billion euros), according to research from United States-based software and  security firm Symantec Corp. The estimate, which covers the period between July 2007 and July 2008, includes stolen credit cards and account data sold online by criminals in Australia to buyers around the world. Symantec did not respond to a CardLine Global request for comment.
