MasterCard Inc. has lured Ajay Banga from Citigroup Inc. to become the card network's president and chief operating officer. Banga has been Citi's CEO of Asia-Pacific operations. Banga will be reporting to Robert W. Selander, currently president and CEO. Selander will continue to serve as CEO after Banga joins MasterCard on Aug. 31.

Citizens Equity First Credit Union of Peoria, Ill., has renewed its participation in the NYCE electronic funds transfer network. NYCE is the credit union's exclusive provider of domestic ATM and point-of-sale debit access.
