Weiss will work with financial institutions that are deploying C-Sam's mobile transaction platform, which supports mobile payments with technologies such as Near Field Communication, QR codes and the cloud. Sheehan will be responsible for global strategy and international projects.

At Citi, Weiss was director of digital networks and mobile for the bank's Enterprise Payments group, where he was responsible for growing business market share for Citi's core payment infrastructure.  Weiss was also a founding member of Citi's Global Innovation team and helped launch the bank's first NFC and person-to-person payment trials.

Sheehan founded mPayy, an electronic payment company focused on NFC-based stored-value payments for transit authorities and the private sector. He has also served as a senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase's consumer payments business, and was a partner at Accenture in its financial services practice.

The Chicago-based C-Sam's clients include Coles Supermarkets and Australian debit card company eftpos.
