Diebold Appoints Finance, Technology Executives

The ATM and bank technology provider Diebold has named two executives to lead its international finance and data security offices.

Nisheet Gupta will serve as vice president for international finance. He most recently served as vice president for finance in the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa office. In his new role, Gupta will report to Christopher Chapman, the company's chief financial officer.

Additionally, Diebold appointed James Kastle as vice president and chief security officer. He most recently worked as vice president for information security at Cardinal Health, a medical supply company in Dublin, Ohio. Diebold is based in North Canton, Ohio.

Kastle will report to David Ramsey, the company's chief information officer.

"Nisheet will be essential in further aligning our finance operations within each region, and Jim's deep understanding of information security will be crucial in establishing and maintaining a renewed vision, strategy and program security architecture that is enterprise-wide," Chapman said in a Jan. 29 press release.
