Monett, Mo.-based Jack Henry & Associates yesterday reported net income for its fiscal third quarter surged 28%, based on a 19% rise in revenues.Net income for the third quarter was $31.6 million and revenues were $215.5 million.
As a result, net income for the first three quarters of the fiscal year grew 17% to $87.9 million, and revenues advanced 10% to $608.7 million.
“We are pleased to announce a solid performance in a market that continues to send mixed signals,” said Jack Primm, CEO, in a statement. “With continued improvement in the general economy as the year progresses we hope to see a slowdown in the number of bank failures and a more favorable environment for financial institution spending, resulting in continued improvements in revenue growth."
