European challenger bank N26 is adding a range of promotional incentives for using its debit card as it
N26’s U.S. debit card customers may receive cashback rewards and discounts at a variety of global merchants including Booking.com and Lime bikes and scooters as part of the push, the German bank said in a Tuesday press release.
The U.S. arm of N26, working in partnership with San Diego-based digital financial company Axos Bank, is offering U.S. N26 debit card customers deals including 15% cash back on travel reservations at Booking.com, 50% off Lime rentals and 10% off any three Broadway show purchases from Headout, the release said.
Some of the deals may be available only for a short time, while others will be ongoing, depending on their reception, according to the release.
Founded in 2013 as a digital-only bank, N26 has raised about $680 million in funding and serves 3.5 million customers in 26 markets including France, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S., the release said.
