Global Payments Launches Multicurrency Service In India

Global Payments Asia-Pacific said Tuesday it has introduced a service in India that enables merchants to accept payments in Indian rupees or other currencies customers prefer. The firm already has launched its Global HomeCurrencyPay service in China, Malaysia and Taiwan, Global Payments says in a statement. The service accepts payments made with Visa- or MasterCard-branded cards. Global Payments Asia-Pacific is a joint venture between United Kingdom-based HSBC Group and United States-based processor Global Payments Inc.
