JCB Signs Issuing Agreement With Chinese Bank

Japan-based card firm JCB International Credit Card Co. Ltd. announced Tuesday it signed an issuing license agreement with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. JCB will help the Chinese bank develop credit card products and services set for release some time next year, according to a JCB statement. The card company has issuing licensing agreements with six Chinese banks that issued 1.8 million JCB credit cards as of the end of March, according to a statement.
