Hong Kong Leong Bank Bhd has relaunched its Touch'n Go Zing card in Malaysia, an official for the Malaysia-based bank tells CardLine Global. The bank says the first launch was not well-received by consumers. The contactless prepaid card includes an automatic reload feature linked to the customers' Hong Leong credit cards, Moey Tan, the bank's personal financial services unit supervisor, tells CardLine Global. "Every time [a customer's] Zing Card balance falls below 50 ringgits [US$15 or 10 euros), it will automatically reload 100 ringgits, and the amount will be charged to the Hong Leong credit card," Tan says. Cardholders can make payments at authorized Touch 'n Go service providers such as toll lanes, public transport, 36 parking lots and 19 retail chains nationwide, including stores operated by Burger King Corp., 7 Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Dunkin Donuts Sdn Bhd. "The card is available in Visa and MasterCard variants," Tan adds.
