NCR Provides ATM Management Software to Commercial Bank of Ethiopia

NCR Corp. is providing its ATM operation management software to the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia to remotely monitor and operate the bank's 1,200 multi-vendor ATMs.

The Duluth, Ga.-based tech firm’s APTRA Vision system provides data analysis and remote management functionalities for strategic planning and pre-emptive action purposes.

"In providing a single and standardized view of our growing ATM network, NCR APTRA Vision is able to analyze and correlate data from multiple sources, enabling us to make timely decisions to ensure undisrupted services which are vital to improve customer satisfaction and business performance in a cost-effective manner," said Sosina Mengesha, the director of e-payments at CBE, in an Oct. 14 news release.

CBE has $15 billion in assets and about 965 branches, it noted in the release.
