The company has launched Qwickserve, an online and mobile application that allows consumers to order and pay for their meals before picking them up. The application also allows the customer to tell the restaurant when to prepare the order.

The white-label application operates on PCs, tablets and smartphones. Retailers can connect the application to Petrosoft's C-Store Office back office management system.

Petrosoft also launched POSPro, a compact point of sale terminal. The touchscreen terminal, also compatible with C-Store Office, can accept different payment types and supports loyalty programs and promotions.

"We have been evolving over the last few years into a full, end-to-end retail automation system that will help retailers maximize their productivity in every area of their operations," says Sergei Gorlov, CEO of Petrosoft, in a press release.

Other companies are promoting order-ahead features for quick-serve restaurants. PayPal has an order-ahead feature used by Jamba Juice, and DoubleBeam offers similar technology through its purchase of GoPago
