The processor Planet Payment Inc. has begun offering its iPay payment gateway to customers of the e-commerce platform provider Magento.
The agreement with Magento allows merchants to connect to iPay and its Shop in Your Currency system. Shop in Your currency allows shoppers to view prices from international merchants in their home currency. Shoppers would pay in their home currency, and merchants would receive funds in their own local currency.
"Planet Payment is excited that the iPay Gateway will now be available on Magento's robust e-commerce platform," said Scott Goldthwaite senior vice president of product management and marketing at Planet Payment, in a press release Dec. 3. "With Magento's multi-lingual language support, among many other features, we think the platform will be a great fit for our multi-currency enabled payment gateway."
