RDK Collection Services Acquires Health Care, Telecom Specialist

RDK Collection Services Inc., a collection agency with offices in Troy Mich. and Scottsdale, Ariz., announced Tuesday that it has acquired Automated Collection Systems Inc. (ACS), based in Southfield, Mich. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

RDK has clients in several fields, including government, health care, insurance, retail, telecom and utilities. ACS provides collection services to the health care and telecom industries.

The acquisition [of ACS] provides our company with an expanded customer base at a time when there is a great demand for assistance to recover amounts owed," says Richard D. Kundrata, RDK's owner. "Coupled with our West Coast call center we can provide an extended workday to better service our clients. We look forward to our relationship growing and flourishing with our new clients.

“We are uniquely qualified to further execute our long-term growth strategy, which includes additional acquisitions and continue enhancing operational efficiencies."

ACS is also known as Receivables Management Inc., Rehmann Receivables LLC and Asset Recovery. The company was founded and owned by Art Nitzsche.

RDK has been collecting commercial and consumer debts since 1992.

The acquisition is the second in two days announced in the accounts receivable management industry (see story).
