Just weeks after welcoming a new CEO and launching a fresh marketing push following some unwelcome technical issues, UniRush LLC is rolling out a new mobile app for its prepaid RushCard with improved security features.
The moves come eight months after a bruising technical
RushCard’s new mobile app introduces fingerprint authentication to access the app, and a feature called Pause Protection enabling users to temporarily block transactions for enhanced security, the company said in an Aug. 29 press release.
A pharmacy e-card also is now available to RushCard mobile app users, providing discounts on prescription medications at Walmart, according to UniRush.
The upgrade is part of RushCard’s recently launched “Make Moves” campaign, which aims to promote financial opportunities and responsibility.
