Sage Payment Solutions Inc., the payments division for Sage North America, has enhanced its virtual payment terminal to help small merchants better manage their payment process, the company announced March 8.
McLean, Va.-based Sage says the terminal includes 24/7 access to authorizing and managing payment transactions, card-present processing, check processing and USB-connected card-swipe capabilities for lower cost card-present transactions.
Upgraded features also include customizable receipts from predefined templates, an overview of transaction history and payment type, export options for reports, and import options for shopping cart products. It also includes an advanced recurring billing service and an integrated donation service for nonprofit and charitable organizations.
The enhanced terminal integrates with a merchant’s existing account software and requires no installation or additional upgrades. The virtual terminal software is free to merchants with a Sage account.
