Sage Payment Solutions, a merchant-services company with more than 155,000 merchants, has renewed its processing deal with TSYS Acquiring Solutions, a unit of Total System Services Inc., a Columbus, Ga.-based payment processor, TSYS announced July 19.
Sage, based in McLean, Va., has worked with TSYS Acquiring for 13 years, a Sage spokesperson tells PaymentsSource. TSYS Acquiring provides authorization, settlement and terminal-deployment services to Sage under terms of the new agreement, which is for five years, Sage says.
Sage reviewed two other processors but chose to stay with TSYS because of the existing relationship and pricing, the Sage spokesperson says, declining to name the other processors.
