Singapore-based DBS Bank Ltd. launched Monday a MasterCard-branded credit card for small and medium-sized enterprises in Singapore, the bank announced. The card, called the World Business Card, is aimed at the owners and senior executives of small and medium-sized enterprises. "The DBS World Business Card is tailor made to meet the needs of top-tier SME bosses, who see opportunity in adversity," a DBS spokesperson tells CardLine Global. DBS will waive off the annual card fee for the first year, the spokesperson says. "DBS will be sending out 10,000 invitations for the DBS World Business Card to its SME customers and plans to send out a total of 50,000 invitations in the first year," the spokesperson says.
