Sino Payments Inc. has struck an agreement with Singapore-based eNets Pte Ltd for credit and debit card ecommerce processing in Asia, the U.S.-based payments processor said this week in a statement. Sino Payments will use eNets to process e-commerce transactions made by its customers in Asia in multiple currencies, including US dollars, the statement says. The Singapore firm also has a presence in Hong Kong and mainland China, and works with some of the region's largest banks, the statement says. Neither company provided immediate comment to CardLine Global. ENets is a wholly owned subsidiary of NETS, a company that enables online payment services for banks, merchants and other payment gateways. Sino Payments currently provides credit and debit card processing services to supermarkets and retail stores in Asia.
