As part of this deal, Spindle's technology will be integrated with ZingCheckout, an Integrated Payments partner. ZingCheckout and Integrated Payments are both based in Austin, Texas. Spindle is based in Scottsdale, Ariz.

"We're delighted to join forces with Integrated Payments, which we anticipate will drive mobile payment integration among the company's POS partners," said Bill Clark, president at Spindle, in a press release Dec. 3.

"Our strategy has been to create a technology that empowers the merchant to utilize existing POS infrastructure to accept mobile payments," Clark adds. "The partnership with Integrated Payments and ZingCheckout will allow us to do just that."
