Trustwave has released file integrity monitoring software that checks for additions, modifications or deletions of sensitive files or other stored data, the company announced June 21.
The software informs users when hackers gain unauthorized access to a system or application and indicates the potential presence of malware or other malicious activity, the Chicago-based company said in a press release release.
As a cloud-based approach, the product reduces costs and takes the burden off customers because Trustwave performs all configuration, monitoring and reporting, the company said.
Users do not manage or maintain anything, according to the release. With no hardware or management console to deploy, the product works with businesses of any size–from small entities with a few endpoint devices to the largest enterprises with thousands, Trustwave said.
