Monitise, a London-based payments technology company, has partnered with MoneyPass Network to provide services to ATM users in the U.S.

The MoneyPass Network is a surcharge-free ATM network operated by Elan Financial Services, a unit of U.S. Bank. Monitise will provide mobile banking services like balance checks, transfers, and check deposits to MoneyPass customers.
"Through our participating financial institutions, we want to give cardholders access to a premium mobile card services experience that is both easy to use and secure, Troy Cullen, president of Elan, said in a Jan. 15 press release.
The service will also provide antifraud protection through mobile alerts.
