WEX has selected Roberto Simon to become the fleet card company's next chief financial officer.
Simon will step into the role Feb. 26 of next year. The South Portland, Maine-based company's current CFO, Steve Elder, will transition at that time to the newly created role of senior vice president of investor relations.
The change was made to deepen the company's executive management and bring in more international experience, WEX said in a Nov. 5 news release.
Most recently, Simon worked as chief financial officer at the cosmetics company Revlon, heading up financial reporting and operations, mergers and the company-wide SAP rollout.
