Wincor Nixdorf AG has signed a four-year deal to provide ATM management services for ICA Banken, the banking subsidiary of Sweden-based retail chain ICA AB, the Germany-based ATM company says in a statement. Wincor will provide such services as system monitoring, cash management, help desk, software distribution and hardware maintenance for ATMs located in the chain's retail stores. Wincor will provide the services in 170 stores. ICA operates or franchises more than 2,230 stores in Sweden, Norway and the Baltic states. The deal also calls for the deployment of 15 SlimCash 200 ATMs from Wincor, the statement says. Wincor says it previously has sold more than 6,000 point-of-sale terminal systems in some 1,300 ICA stores in Sweden.
