Worldpay and Zuora have partnered to introduce a product that streamlines the payments aspect of online, subscription-based video, software and other content.
The partnership will let digital content providers customize subscription offers for both specific users and markets, the companies said in a joint news release on Sept. 15. The service will be able to accept payments in multiple currencies. Providers can also link payments to customer-relationship management software.
“The world is moving rapidly towards subscription services, from the way we watch sport to the way we use business software,” Kevin Dallas, Worldpay's chief product and marketing officer for global e-commerce, said in the release.
The two companies disclosed that Oz, an online video provider, has signed up to use the service.
Financial terms of the partnership between the U.K.'s Worldpay and Foster City, Calif.-based Zuora were not disclosed.
