Xpress Money Launches Self-Service Kiosks

Xpress Money is offering up its own slate of self-service kiosks, the 16-year-old global money transfer has announced.

After registering with photo identification, customers will be able to use the terminals to calculate and select a transfer amount. The machine will print out a voucher, which users can redeem with a cashier.

"[O]ur kiosks will take convenience levels of money transfer a notch higher," said Sudhesh Giriyan, chief operating officer at Xpress Money, in an Oct. 23 news release.

The new kiosks will first roll out at NightOwl convenience stores in Australia.

Xpress Money is based in Dubai and operates through 170,000 agents in 150 countries, according to the company’s website.
