Robert T. Barnum has been named president and chief operating officer of American Savings Bank, Stockton, Calif.
Mr. Barnum, 46, who has been chief financial officer since January 1989, will continue to serve in that capacity and report to Mario J. Antoci, chairman and chief executive officer.
As president and chief operating officer, Mr. Barnum will oversee retail banking, lending, corporate finance, corporate services, legal, and real estate sales.
