Shawmut in ATM deal with grocery chain.

HARTFORD -- Shawmut National Corp. said it has an agreement to place automated teller machines at 42 Honey Farms Inc. stores in the Worcester County, Mass., area.

Paul DelFino, Shawmut's executive vice president for community banking, said the installations, which are to be completed in the third quarter, will help the bank deliver on a promise to expand its products and services around Worcester.

Wilfred L. Iandoli, president of the Worcester-based Honey Farms convenience store chain, said the ATM arrangement offers "greater convenience and efficiency" customers in the region.
