Service Credit Union of Portsmouth, N.H., has begun using an online system from Integrated Media Management LLC of Linden, N.J., to deliver documents to members around the world and to capture digital signatures remotely.

Integrated Media Management said Monday that the $1.3 billion-asset credit union is using the TotaleAtlasWeb system to let its 118,000 members view and sign lending, customer service, and trust documents without visiting its 17 branches in New Hampshire and Massachusetts or its 15 on U.S. military bases in Germany.

The system uses knowledge-based questions to verify the signer's identity, Integrated Media Management said.

Service Credit Union was chartered to serve the employees of a local Air Force base.

Political extortion from the banks in an election year
A slap on the wrist — the banks put reserves away for this long ago, they won't even feel it
A source of relief for both banks and homeowners that could help the housing market and economy recover
