The mobile banking technology provider ClairMail Inc. announced a platform that it says makes it easier to adapt mobile banking systems as a bank's business and technology needs change.

ClairMail's Mobile Connectivity Architecture is designed to provide access to other bank functions, such as linking it to fraud detection to provide mobile fraud alerts.

Donald MacCormick, ClairMail's vice president of product and engineering, said in a press release that the technology allows mobile banking to be used for more than "entry-level" basic banking. Its new system can tap into multiple bank systems "in order to trigger and complete cross-functional business processes," he said.
