Cardtronics Inc. has agreed to replace the ATMs deployed at National Lumber & Hardware Co. locations in Puerto Rico, the nation's largest ATM operator announced Thursday.

The agreement also calls for Scotiabank de Puerto Rico, a subsidiary of Bank of Nova Scotia, to place its brand on the 38 machines, which Cardtronics, of Houston, owns and operates, according to a press release.

Scotiabank now has its brand on 90 surcharge-free ATMs throughout Puerto Rico through Cardtronics’ branding program, the release notes.
