Under the long-term deal, Alliance Data will continue to provide account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization and card issuance services for the Reed Jewelers Credit Card program. Alliance Data also will handle statement generation, remittance processing, customer service and marketing functions.
Alliance Data, based in Dallas, also said that it is working with Reeds Jewelers to develop an incentives program for the card. Alliance Data, which specializes in private-label credit cards, has worked with Reeds Jewelers, based in Wilmington, N.C., for a decade.
