Citigroup (NYSE:C) has rolled out a new version of its corporate online banking system.
The nation's third-biggest bank by assets said Thursday it has added features to its CitiDirect Banking Evolution platform that are designed to improve usability and convenience.
The service, which lets companies manage treasury functions worldwide via one online site, now features new modeling tools, added ways of displaying information and running reports, and electronic bank account management that is said to streamline signatory management and account-opening activities.
Citi also offers a mobile app related to the service called CitiDirect BE Mobile. Later this year, Citi expects to roll out a version for tablets.
"Our technology investments are focused on bringing clients valuable transactional information that will significantly improve their decision-making abilities," Naveed Sultan, Citigroup's global head of treasury and trade solutions, said in a press release.
CitiDirect Banking Evolution, which is available in roughly 70 countries, is expected to be available in roughly 25 more by mid-year.
