Analytics firms Numerix and Quartet FS are joining forces to provide data visualization and analysis for risk management.

The Numerix CrossAsset server will implement Quartet FS's analytics engine, Active Pilot, the two companies said Tuesday. The partnership will allow firms to aggregate and visualize large volumes of data. The combined technologies should help clients perform sounder derivatives valuation and credit-risk calculations, the companies said.

"We're excited to integrate ActivePivot into our workflow for CrossAsset Server, enabling the multi-dimensional analysis and continuous aggregation of complex sets of disparate scenario results to achieve real-time re-aggregation, visualization and data monitoring on the fly - including the drill-down, slice and dice of risk data and complex CVA computations," Steven O'Hanlon, chief executive and president of Numerix, said in the news release.
