Bridgehampton Adds 20 Welch ATMs in N.Y.

Bridgehampton National Bank (BDGE) in New York has expanded its ATM network to include 20 self-service machines bearing its trademark sailboat logo.

The customized Bridgehampton ATMs, provided by Welch ATM, are in Rite Aid pharmacy stores in New York's Nassau and Suffolk counties as well as New York City, according to a press release Wednesday.

The partnership with Welch allows Bridgehampton "to expand our brand into markets where we do not have branches" and offer customers greater access to surcharge-free ATMs, James Manseau, chief retail banking officer, said in the release.

The agreement with Welch also lets Bridgehampton customers make free withdrawals from roughly 600 additional ATMs in New York state, according to the release.

The $2.1 billion-asset Bridgehampton has 26 branches in New York.
