Fentura in Mich. to raise $25M to pursue growth opportunities

Fentura Financial in Fenton, Mich., has outlined plans to raise $25 million.

The $842 million-asset company said in a press release Wednesday that it is starting a private placement to raise capital.

Fentura said it would use proceeds from the offering to boost regulatory ratios, support organic growth and pursue strategic opportunities, among other things.

Fentura raised $15 million in 2016 to fund its acquisition of Community Bancorp.

Donnelly Penman & Partners is the offering's sole placement agent.
