Altura has adopted: Edgemont Elementary, Northridge Elementary, Moreno Valley High School, Valley View High School and March Valley School/March Mountain High School.

“Many people may not realize that Altura Credit Union has a strong connection to education,” said Trisha Rudd, Altura’s business development manager. “We began in 1957 as a credit union for school employees, so our ties to education are strong and deep.”

“In the current economic environment, schools are facing difficult budget cuts, and programs like this one help not only our schools but the students attending them,” Rudd added.

The Adopt-an-MVSUD-School is co-sponsored by the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, which supports the idea that a good education makes sense for the business community, and that a collaboration such as this gives educators a better awareness of the needs in the business world.
