SYRACUSE, N.Y. – AmeriCU CU is sponsoring the popular “Midnight Madness” for Syracuse University basketball, the first night members of the college team can officially practice together.
Midnight Madness will offer SU basketball fans the chance to see the 2011-12 editions of the men’s and women’s team for the first time this fall. Both programs are coming off 20-win campaigns and post season appearances. Scrimmages and drills from the men's and women's basketball teams will take place as well as a dunk contest and other activities.
The featured entertainment for Midnight Madness includes rapper and actor Tone Loc, who will perform his smash hits “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina,” accompanied by the SU Dance Team. Russian Bar Trio, an acrobatic act as seen on the popular television show America’s Got Talent, is scheduled to perform its death-defying feats at midcourt.
