IRVINE, Calif. – Autobytel Inc., operator of the popular auto buying web site, announced yesterday it will receive $20 million to settle a patent lawsuit with Dealix Corp. over an Internet-based system that matches customers and sellers looking to exchange automotive products and services. The settlement calls for the dismissal of a lawsuit brought by Autobytel and a license allowing Dealix to use patented technology.
