WESTBROOK, Maine - (12/29/05) Clarke American has made a $9,000contribution to the Maine CUs' Campaign for Ending Hunger. Thecontribution marked the second year of raising funds through theClarke American Charitable Contribution Scenic Check Program,through which the company donates 50 cents to the Campaign forevery check order. In addition to raising funds for ending hunger,the Program also contributed nearly $1,500 to Maine SpecialOlympics. In two years, the Clarke American Charitable Scenic CheckProgram has contributed more than $20,000 to Maine credit unioncharitable causes, including $18,000 to the Maine CUs' Campaign forEnding Hunger. Since 1990, the Maine Credit Unions Campaignfor Ending Hunger has raised more than $1.75 million to help endhunger in Maine.
