"The biggest initial success is from the coolness factor," according to Linda Bodie, CEO. "We've been doing remote deposit via scanner for a few years, so the mobile capture was a natural progression for us."
The 2.5 average user-rating on the deposit application is deceptive, Bodie suggested. Bodie weeded out the non-member reviews, which kicks up the average rating to 4.5 out of 5 stars, she said.
