LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - (06/20/06) Arkansas FCU announced it isreturning to its roots on its 50th anniversary with construction ofa full service branch on Little Rock Air Force Base. Thestates biggest credit union was chartered in 1956 by theairmen at the base. The $425 million credit union will build atemporary branch, then replace it with a permanent facility in late2007 or early 2008 at a new mall being built on-base. The creditunion also operates two ATMs at the base.
