Greylock FCU Absorbs Tiny Steinerfilm Employees FCU

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Greylock FCU has agreed to acquire Steinerfilm Employees FCU, a $300,000 credit union in nearby Williamstown, Mass.

Rosemarie Blair, who managed Steinerfilm Employees Credit Union from an office inside the company, said the move is a result of the smaller credit union’s desire to give its members more benefits. The manufacturing credit union opened in 1982 and has been managed by two part-time employees.

Greylock has $1.2 billion in assets and is one of the biggest credit unions in New England.
