Indiana Members CU Absorbs All Seasons FCU

Indianapolis-based Indiana Members Credit Union has completed its merger with All Seasons Federal Credit Union of Indianapolis, effective Nov. 1.

All Seasons FCU's membership consisted entirely of employees of Carrier Corp., a maker of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerator systems. However, in February of this year, Carrier announced that its Indianapolis manufacturing facility – which included an All Seasons branch – would shut down, impacting some 2,100 jobs.

The merger with Indiana Members is aimed at helping to provide the members of All Seasons CU with "uninterrupted access" to financial services at any of the 25 Indiana Members CU locations across central Indiana. The staff from All Seasons will also become IMCU staff.

Prior to the merger Indiana Members had $1.68 billion in assets and about 120,000 members, while All Seasons had $9.1 million in assets and about 1,360 members.

"We are pleased to welcome Carrier Corporation employees and All Seasons Federal Credit Union members to our family," said Ron Collier, president and chief executive officer of Indiana Members CU, in a statement. "Assisting these employees through an extremely difficult time was the right thing to do."

Nikki Thompson, public relations specialist at Indiana Members CU said that the credit union will assist former members of All Seasons FCU by providing uninterrupted service and availability to a broader network of branches, as well as an expanded suite of products and services.

“Our branch staff will work with [Carrier] employees individually to council them through the transition,” she stated. “IMCU will also host educational seminars and programs for employees.”
