Help Yourself To White Paper

DSFCU Using Voice Biometrics

PHOENIX-The $3-billion Desert Schools FCU will be the first credit union to use Finivations Software's new voice biometrics technology, VoiceVerify. VoiceVerify will help Desert Schools' verify a member's identity before they are granted access to sensitive information or allowed to conduct sensitive transactions, such as wire transfers, external bank transfers, or password changes. Using biometrics to secure these types of actions is ideal for today's online and mobile banking.

Symitar, Synergent Renew Pact

PORTLAND, Maine--Synergent said it has signed a new agreement with Symitar that expands the two organizations' partnership of working together to bring core processing solutions to credit unions in New England and New York. As a result of this agreement, credit unions that wish to offer the Episys Core Processing Platform in a service bureau environment will be served by Synergent, while those wishing to operate the platform in-house will be served by Symitar.

Call Deploys Member Advisor

WALTHAM, Mass.--Call FCU, Richmond, Va., has released the "Member Adviser" e-newsletter program, which will provide it with more efficient e-communications solution for CFCU's 31,000 members.

Prior to implementing this product, Call FCU relied on internal marketing resources to write articles and produce its monthly e-newsletter. CFCU said it selected member adviser because of its extensive content library and the efficiencies created by IMN's e-newsletter.

ST. PAUL, Minn.-Minnesota Item Processing Corp. said it has partnered with Cachet Financial Solutions, a provider of remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions, to offer Select Mobile, Cachet's mobile remote deposit capture application.

Cachet's Select Mobile application allows account holders to initiate mobile-deposit sessions on their smartphone or tablet equipped with a two megapixel camera.

TotaleAtlas 5.1.0 Now Available

LINDEN, N.J--Integrated Media Management (IMM) has announced the availability of TotaleAtlas version 5.1.0. TotaleAtlas automates the space between a financial institution's core system and imaging backend by creating a secure 128-bit encrypted, non-editable PDF document with signatures embedded, the company said. New enhancements include TeAImport, which imports pre-existing or scanned PDF documents into a document set, along with Internet banking portal integration, Non-SSN authentication, and more.

Separately, IMM reported that Rivermark Community CU has selected its FormSpeed product, a Web-based workflow productivity tool for financial institutions that collects information and effectively routes forms through their proper channel.

Accelerated Insight Is Released

NOVATO, Calif.-Dragnet Solutions has released Accelerated Insight, a real-time identity verification it says "supports aggressive account creation and cross-selling activities while cutting operating costs, reducing fraud, and facilitating KYC/CIP compliance. CU Mobile Apps Released

FRANKLIN, Tenn.-Member Service Solutions has released "CU Mobile Apps," which it said "allows subscribers to easily upload images, choose colors, customize items displayed, and add or change content at any time-with the results accessible to members within 60 seconds." The app is available for both iPhones and Android devices, and can " seamlessly accept and integrate newer technologies as they become available" at a low cost.

SANDY, Utah--FLEX said it is now offering free, live webinars to its clients for ongoing training of its core processing system. FLEX is utilizing GoToWebinar with self enrollment and unlimited seats for attendees. The training seminars over the Internet are offered to nearly 300 credit unions that are now on FLEX.

Wescom Selects Akcelerant

Redwood, Zynergy Partner

SANTA ROSA, Calif.-Redwood CU has signed an online marketing contract with Zenergy Works of Santa Rosa. The contract calls for Zenergy to improve Redwood's organic search rankings through Search Engine Optimization, be a consultant on social media optimization, handle online niche market display advertising, and handle Search Engine Marketing for the credit union's network of 19 branches and ATM locations throughout the North Bay.

TruStone Implementing Acumen

PLYMOUTH, Minn.-TruStone Financial FCU has chosen to implement Fiserv's Acumen account processing solution. In addition to Acumen, the $685-million credit union will implement 15 value-added solutions from Fiserv, including Corillian Online for online banking, ZashPay for person-to-person payments, CheckFree RXP for bill pay, AccountCreate for online account opening and Mobiliti for mobile banking.
