Jwaala Offers Rewards Program Through Cardlytics

AUSTIN, Texas – Jwaala, a provider of online banking and personal financial management solutions, said it is partnering with Cardlytics to offer transaction marketing rewards to Jwaala’s credit unions.

Jwaala’s Better Online Banking solution is used by more than 35 credit unions and will be the first concentrated portfolio of credit unions that Cardlytics adds to its base of financial institutions providing rewards to its debit, credit and prepaid card holders.

The two companies said the deal will allow credit unions to offer relevant rewards based on individual behavior directly from their accounts, helping members save money on products normally purchased.

Cardlytics’ transaction marketing platform targets credit union members based on specific customer purchasing characteristics, which may include ZIP code, store name, store category, purchase frequency or amount of expenditure. Relevant offers will be presented within Jwaala’s Better Online Banking online environment, appearing that the credit unions present the rewards – not merchants. Keeping the offers within the safe confines of the credit union ensures that no personally identifiable information ever goes to a third party.
