WASHINGTON – Mortgage rates held steady this week near their historic lows, according to Freddie Mac.
The average for the 30-year loan was unchanged at a 60-year-low of 4.09%; while the average for the 15-year mortgage ticked down to 3.29%, near a record low.
ARM rates moved upwards slightly, with the average for the five-year ARM rising from a record-low 2.99% to 3.02%; and the average for the one-year ARM inching up to 2.82%, from 2.81%.
