NCUA doles out pair of prohibitions for October

The National Credit Union Administration on Thursday issued prohibition notices against two individuals for October.

Ashley Bagley, a former employee of the $164 million-asset Great Northwest Federal Credit Union in Aberdeen, Wash., was sentenced in the Superior Court of Washington for Pacific County on a charge of theft in the first degree.

Kevin Biederman, a former employee of the $1.1 billion-asset Philadelphia Federal Credit Union, was sentenced on two charges, conspiracy to commit money laundering and bank bribery, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

The regulator said these two individuals are prohibited from working at any federally insured financial institution.

NCUA issued five prohibition notices and two prohibition orders in September.
